Do you ever attend the Joe Nall Giant Scale Fly-in in South Carolina.   Nice bird you have there.    Monty

Thanks!

No I've never been there. Whenever I get to the US for aeromodelling it's to participate in contests in my particular class (F2B = CLPA). I fly Control Line Precision Aerobatics instead of RC Scale  which is more wide spread. At our local club however I do fly some RC too and teaching it plus aerobatics coaching. Apart from contestsI do fly at shows and meetings here in the Netherlands and then most everything you can imagine is in. Pylonrace, scale, giant-scale, turbines, even the odd pulse jet...  Yet I can hear the 'wow' in the crowd, when I pull up at the end of a wingover about 6 feet from the ground....

My bird is loosely patterned after a CAP 232, but heavily adapted for maximum CLPA performance. This alters a lot of moment arms, surfaces, etc.
