I installed an 8" shallow-mount sub in the fender space above it's amp to the left. I got the matching blue material from JoAnn Fabrics and used a heavy-gauge paint roller screen to put behind the material protect the sub from puncture. The amp to the right goes to the door speakers. I even soundproofed all doors and fenderwells, and that alone made a big difference in the sound quality of the stereo system.
