Welcome to the HO. That's a beautiful old Fairbanks with alot of memories attached to it. Are you learning Celtic or jazz-style tenor?

Well thanks for the kind words about the banjo. I am currently focusing on the Celtic style, but eventually would like to learn some jazz-style as well. I sing in a Barbershop quartet and there's a lot of overlap with the old-style music played on the tenor and sung in barbershop.
Regarding what kind of bridge do is use...I have no idea. I posted a picture of it. You could fill a book with all the things I don't know about banjos. I'd be interested to know if it's a "good bridge" or if should I get a different one.
