Hi Jane - well, this cost 95 UK Sterling, should have paid more perhaps, but that will have to wait until I've got used to holding/fretting/picking etc, so I can do a better instrument proper justice. Regards, Bryan

There isn't a bad banjo,Bryan! Before you know it you will move up a notch or two! You will be playing along someday and realize you have figured it out! That is a great experience! You'll see!

Hi Bryan, are you learning to play bluegrass or clawhammer?, I have just started to try my hand with frailing, not to good at the minute but I guess like everything keep practising.

Hello Lee. I was tempted to play frailing even before I bought a banjo in February, partly through seeing Patrick Costello on YouTube. But then I came across a teacher in Torquay who teaches bluegrass, and so I've been practising that ever since. Good luck with your having a go at frailing, I wish you all the best. There is also a real difference in the sound of music produced isn't there? Yes, it's just "keep practising" isin't it? Very best wishes. Bryan.
