My husband (then boyfriend) Mark and I are in this pic, along with my dog Cleo and friends Solveig, Becky, Dana, and so forth. I remember this festival particularly as I got my first migraine there, and a really nice guy showed me how to play Pateroller.

Hey, 1972? I was there. So were Virgil Sturgel, Buell Kazee, Sparky Rucker, and all kinds of folks. I got to play on the traditional night so I felt pretty good about it. The following year my mother in law broke her ankle in the middle of Guy Carawan's set and they hauled her off to town. I was off in the cave at the time and missed all the excitement. Nide to see you again.
