Haven't tried that yet, but I bet you're right ! ! I posted the picture to put in a comment on a thread about different "found" objects that people have used for banjo pots. The pot in the picture is a chrome headlight rim from a ~1950's era car...... the banjo was put together as a joke, and I got it along with some other banjos from a guy who was thinning out his collection.
