What a great assortment to take a break with. I wonder if you play all the instruments, or if you have 5 people to pick up their favorite.
I have an office in my home, and I always have an instrument out ready to play for 5 minutes.
That habit got established when I was writing my graduate thesis. It sounds like you found the same benefits as I did. Musical breaks can be inspiring!
