Curtis pulled out the 10-string banjo he built from 60s Gibson parts (not pre-war) and let me play it after we returned from BanjoThon on Jan. 12, 2008. This is an interesting instrument, somewhat difficult to play. He recorded several tracks with it in the 1970s.
