I played this banjo from 1976 until 1994 - when I acquired my RB-1- and from 1982 I upgraded it with (custom made) rim + tonering and tension hoop from Bill Sullivan. Bill had me sketching the rim dimensions and produced a drop in fit. (!) Many times the bano was mistaken for a (good) RB-250... :-)
