John it is so sad that the very men who fought for "Our Freedom and for our Country" eventually leave us, you certainly don't get a chest full of medals by sitting in a barrack room. thanks for posting such a moving pic.....ragards Lee

The sadest words I have heard were from a survivour of the Arhnem raid, who out of a sense of duty, friendship gave tours around the airborne cemetary in Arhnem. His only regret in life is that "he would be seperated from his comrades in death" It took a while to sink in but it became clear when he explained that when his time came he would be laid to rest in the towns cemetary.........
