The kid adding a shiny polish of snot to the bed rail is oldest brother, Charles. Some time between Oct 1 and Christmas, 1946. Kid looking at us and wondering "How do I transfer OUT of this nuthouse?" is brother Martin. I'm the kid who, because I was SO cute, carefully tilted my face down, away from the camera, so as not to outshine all the others. I was about 22 months old. (The photo won a prize for the guy who took it.)
