Lyle is named after lyle delose heater he named his brand of imports after himself he was born in 1912- died in 1998 portland oregon its a cool story. On the HISTORY OF L .D.HEATER MUSIC COMPANY /tone gems all this information plus more is there these are nice imports 43 + yrs old. Some stories ive seen are not accurate so i called talked to folks out in California and Washington and other pacific northwest states they were the only distributors . Of lyle instruments.

L.D.HEATER MUSIC CO.ran from 1918 and was desolved in1986 and was started by lacy delose heater the father of lyle d heater ...just some info
