Love the Einstein comment. I really like my KI; I think it's the best banjo I've ever owned altho I haven't owned that many, maybe 10 since I got my first Mastertone. I love the tone I get from it. It has the growl we've all heard about and is clear & punchy on the top end. Since it has a Burlile tone ring, I took it to Jim a few months ago for a bridge/nut problem (when I used the twisters, the strings did not come back to correct tune when they came back to G). He fixed that up & tightened the head a small amount but the strange thing was that the bass came up with the tightening, sort of counter-intuitive. He did say "it's a keeper". Since I retired recently, it will probably be my last banjo...
