This is a Kapke guitar made in Superior Wisconsin by Damon Kapke. The guitar is made as naturally as possible, using local domestic woods, recycled materials, and a natural finish. Top is Douglas Fur made from old floor planks, back and sides are Cherry, neck and trim are Black Walnut. The neck was specifically made to feel like my Martin HD-28. It plays well acoustically, and the pickup sounds similar to a single coil neck pickup on a Telecaster. If you look closely, you can see Cherry Block inlays on the Black Walnut fret board.
