Hi Eric: I think I'"ve seen similar banjos under the Morrison brand, do you know if they were made by Dobson?

That's interesting. I haven't heard of Morrison. It is an unusual pot design and I feel it has a very good sound and unique voice. The gal that I was sellin it for decided to keep it in the family.
