I'd like to hear what this sounds like... is there a recording?

I used to have a recording, but I think I gave it to my ex father in law. That was over forty years ago. The Norwood banjo now has a frosted head & a puma paw (finger style tail piece, so it has a little different sound. Keep on me about this. It's not too difficult to make a recording on my phone now days. Getting it to you is another matter. I may need some help on that. You tube probably has something on how to do that.

That picture was taken when I first got that banjo about 1975. I had it set up with that clear head, to show off the purfling inside the pot. Really light gage strings, the first & fifth were Ernie Ball .008, the forth was maybe a wound .022, thinned down bridge & that Ode Tailpiece. It was really responsive, but lacking in depth.

Oh btw, in case you haven't figured out, the peghead in my avatar is another banjo.
