Brooks sent me these pics this morning too, and I've been drooling over them all day. I thought I'd go with the L-shoes on mine, but I think I've changed my mind having seen your banjo! The proportions are just perfect with those 20 globe shoes on the 11.5" pot. "Full but not crowded" as I told Brooks. Can't wait to hear you describe and/or post the way it sounds! beautiful.

The photo's color is a bit misleading. It's not nearly as "red" as it looks.
It's a goatskin head, dyed brown. I don't know what kind of dye Brooks used, but it certainly adds a unique look. The best part is that it ages VERY nicely. It looks a lot better now than it did when I got it.
