Nice Dan!! I would just get a new skin and leave the rest alone. Maybe a light cleaning if it's dirty.

Thanks, I'll see if anyone around here has both the knowledge and the skill to get this done. I read few old posts on this type of banjo and they all recommended nylon strings.
I'll bring it it once the weather decides to lighten up a bit. I'l post a picture when it's done.
