Good shot. I'm sure you're smiling on the inside (no doubt NOT playing Round Peak!).
What's the banjo? (Some neat stuff in the background, too.)

Thanks, Paul. The banjo is a 1927 Gibson RB-1. I purchased it a few years back up in St. Louis. I like the unusual diamond shaped sound holes in the flange. I'm sitting in front of my wife's Waltham Piano which was made in Milwaukee in 1902. It had mainly been played in a church in the Ozarks that did not have electricity, so the top has both kerosine and candle wax stains! The mandolin behind my left elbow is a 1924 Gibson A-1. I think it was the entry level model of the A style mandolins of that era. It's Linda Jo's favorite mandolin. To it's left is a Kay parlor guitar, about 1920 with a painted design on the top. Linda Jo uses silk and steel strings on it and tunes it right up to pitch. Oh, I just noticed, between the mandolin and the parlor guitar is her Kay f-hole archtop guitar, late '30s. Real loud, especially the bass strings. A cheap knockoff of Maybelle Carter's Gibson! You are correct, I'm always happy when playing. Sometimes I just get a little bit intense. If you are ever in Missouri...
