Crikey, a blast from the past. I watched Bill many a time as he played with the Generation Gap. For sure a great Banjo player. Good on you Bill !

Never met Bill, or seen him live Joe, but have heard him on a couple of Tom Travis's CD's, he sound's awesome, would love to see him play :-)

I heard Bill play at Orwell festival last weekend with the Grove band, absolutely owesome.
But then, so were you Joe with Old Grey Dogs.
Is it something to do with the fact you've both been playing for decades? If so, I look forward to getting to you and bill's standard when I get to 95.
