This is a tone ring that was developed by a friend "Mitch Meadors". It is to be used atop a regular gibson arch top tone ring to make it into a flahead. This works really well & tone is REAL solid. If the rim has been cut for a flat head it still can be used with a shim (Usually cut from on that is made into a flathead from an archtop). Nice thing is it can be put back into it's normal archtop way with no alteration. Ck. on it at Mitchs plate mate.
