My brother Bob and I bought this J50 circa 1962 for $125. When I came home from overseas in 1969, I was flat broke and sold my half of the guitar to Bob. I still get to play it on family get togethers. The adjustable saddle was replaced with a fixed bone saddle by Edward Dick in the early eighties. It really seemed to improve the sound. Those adjustable saddles were a BAD idea.
