Skin from a discarded hollow-core door. Soaked in water for 18 hours, clamped over a pot lid, to see if it would bend in both directions. Seems to have conformed nicely to the lid. 1/2 inch deep at center, across a 12 inch test piece. I stood a quarter up, leaning against the string, to hjelp give an idea of the curve.
