Very nice banjo. what year? The neck seems much thicker on these banjos than most, have you noticed it?

Scott, the GF-200 neck I have doesn't seem to be any thicker than most. Due to my having large hands, I've found it more practical to put wider necks on all my banjos (keeping the originals of course). My GF-200, which has a January '85 serial number, has a neck by Arthur Hatfield.
