New-Found Closet Queen

Posted 2/6/2014 7:31:39 AM

This has been packed in closet after only a few months of playing in 1968... until now.. "Why, yes..I would be interested in buying that." I said... Everything is original to the day of purchase. Even had the case candy - bracket wrench and allen wrench/screwdriver still in sealed bag, pitch pipe, groovy elastic-like capo with grommets, thumbpick. Samsonite case with Emblem, golden yellow interior (looks new), and the original strings on (which I was changing when I snapped this photo - hadn't even clipped the ends yet) 1968 Japan-built Epiphone (embossed Japan back of peg head), 20 hole tone ring, multi-ply black rim. Metal parts are in outstanding shape. Has the wire 5th string capo, too. No fret wear or even evidence it had been played. Sounds pretty good, but I think changing the head to a newer one will take the drum sound out of it.
