My wife and I visited Uncle Dave's gravesite earlier this year when we picked up our bench made by Ty York from salvaged wood from Uncle Dave's barn in Readyville. There are a lot of Macons buried there and it take a few minutes to locate this grave. I don't know how any benches Ty made, but You, John Balch (and sons), Todd Wright, and I have one. It was good to meet you at John's house and see your fantastic collection of openbacks. Thanks for playing my Chuck Lee - it was a joy to hear.

This isn't actually his grave but a separate marker about 15 miles away atop Woodbury Mountain. Thanks for letting me pick your banjos. It was great meeting your/your wife and playing the collection hauled along. David E.
