Golly John, I wonder what an IR Reiter sounds like with that calfskin head. Must be killer or you would not have posted it.

RW - These Stern heads are super responsive. I have them on two of my 12" Reiter IR banjos now (the other one is a sanded Goat hide - this is calf). I really like them.

RW those Stern heads really do perform well...period. John mounted one on my Thoroughbred and it transformed that banjo; plus it looks absolutely perfect. David E.
