Hunk of chair rung, sanded partially flat for the barrel. Poplar stock. Bent a big nail, ground off the point, drilled a pilot hole, drove it in with just a dab ogf instant gel glue to convince it not to spin. Am planning to add a trigger guard, bent from a fancy old spoon handle, just to make it that much more "piratey" looking. (It's for a 3 year old whose parents are aware of gun issues.)
