Rim by Lee Sproull is ebonized on the exterior, capped with ebony, and stained brown tone on the interior to show the curly maple inner ring. This is a two ply rim. The exterior ring is straight grain maple taken from the old maple hand rail system salvaged from St. Vincent Hospital, Birmingham.
