This is hands down the most fantastic A-scale banjo I have ever seen! your a lucky man John! I wonder how many IR A scale's Bart made? I would love to find one...

Thanks - I custom ordered this banjo In 1993 and received in in 1994. It was me "dream" banjo at the time. I sold two (2) nice, vintage Vega conversions to help pay for it.
This was one of the last batch of "true" a-scale banjos Bart made before discontinuing the option. I think the scale is something like 23 1/4" (exactly like capoing from the 2nd fret on a standard Reiter full-scale neck).
The best news is, It sounds as good as it looks. the Carry On John cd was entirely recorded using this banjo.
