In a few weeks Romero 12321 should be delivered. This is a figured claro walnut banjo (neck and steam bent rim) with cast brass J-Hooks leaving the rim un-drilled. The impact on tone due to weight of J-Hooks and lack of drilling makes the rim more active. This photo is of the Romero brand plate to be inlayed in the scoop. It along with all of the brass hardware will be aged. The banjo will be pinstriped in blood wood and ebony. Photos will be posted when it is delivered.

David, What a cool & well balanced SN. The Bloodwood and Ebony should look sharp. I am sure it will hold it's own in your stable. Best wishes, we can compare photos at the end of the month.
