Why would anyone take a piece of beautiful curly maple and stain it blue????????

I must like this because of my '80's metal days. I have neon yellow, purple, blue, red, white, black, orange, green, sunburst, and natural stained electric guitars. I love this blue stain on curly maple.

I'm with you Jen... I've still got my 80s metal guitar that's about the same shade of blue as this banjo. I'd love to have a banjo that had a brightly colored curly maple finish like that and sounded like a pre-war Gibson.

no... I rarely go to large metal shows these days. If Yngwie or Pat Travers are playing a small club not too far from me, I'll try to get to that. But I have a hard time at the huge stage all day shows. I'm just getting too old ;)

Yeah, I'm likely not going this year either ('cause of the smoke). Friday is a good line up. Yngwie is playing in CT this Saturday and in NYC soon during the week.
