Snakewood it is. Gorgeous isn't it? Dense, smooth, and so interesting. Glad you like it. I think I was very lucky to find a piece large enough to use for fretboard and another couple for headstock overlays. Hard to find large sized pieces since it grows in a bush form.

I love the snakewood but also the unique end going into the head. I am interested how it turns out after fretting. Very beautiful and unusual. I really like it and your inlay not being too busy and taking away from the snakewood. Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
