An amazing player who has such power but taste and sense of melodic structure at the same time. Just listen to his work with Wayne Shrubsall and you'll hear how tasty his touch can be in tandem with a clawhammer player. He plays such great, innovative back up that it's like a "backup solo." He also happens to be very understated about his own talent and one heck of a nice fellow.
