Steve, may I ask where you got the brass fret board plate shown in the photo of your banjo?

Shannon-
I bought the brass years ago from a metals supply house. Thickness is just a hair more than the frets on the banjo are high. Brass cut into individual pieces and sit between the frets, held on by small dots of 5 minute epoxy. The plates come off now and then and I simply scape them clean and reapply the epoxy. No damage to the fretboard or the frets so the next owner can restore to the original condition.
