These look nice Doub, how are you liking them ?
I presume they give a nice mellow sound.

hey Brian .. I LOVE them ... I'm always experimenting with blade composition and shape, but overall they sound like metal picks without the "screech" or chirp. I love not having to hear that junk when I play. AND when recording, they are beautiful .... I can play driving bluegrass or mellower stuff with equal satisfaction. My daughter Molly is using them as well (a smaller version for her hands) and she sounds great in a band context. Thanks for asking !!! p.s. I'm making an assumption here but ... are you watching the Euro Cup ??? :)

Yes , chewing my nails as England scraped a draw with France last night. Some good football ( soccer :) ) in the other matches, usually the first week starts slow and gains momentum.
I'll check to see if I can source those picks over here as I'm not a big fan of the metal tone.

yes .... and they are VERY easy to make. I took dunlop Large thumbpicks and shaped the blade part with hot water ... flattening them and shaping with an emory board, then curving the blade to my taste. The bands are from 1. a set of NP2 nationals, and 2. a set of brass propiks with double band (but I cut off the little band and blade with a simple cutter tool) then smoothed the edges with a dremel, but this could be done with a file and emory board as well. I use 3M VHB double sided sticky tape to bond the blade to the band. about an hour's worth of work per set of picks. And what's cool is this: you can make several sets of blades and one set of bands, then change out blades for the tone you want for a particular instrument .... pretty fun ...

and .... go England !!! We have a great Brit player here in L.A. :) ... and a pretty good Irishman as well. Germany looks strong ... Spain of course ... and Ronaldo could pull some magic out of the bag before the end of the tournament.

Hey quick question, are there any picks you like that you would suggest for beginners?
