Hi, We have a LOT of humidity where I live on the gulf coast of Texas. So, I stretch it real tight. I have heard that folks up north ie Yankees LOL have so much lower humidity ,,, that if the stretch it real tight on installation,,,, when the weather gets dry it splits.
Im guessing where you live there is a lot of humidity as well, so I bet the stretch it real tight would work,,, let me know if I can help
