Congrats! Ha- you'd probably be mortified to know that I'm currently learning to play clawhammer on a resonator banjo.

That was how i got my first taste of claw'in . I got that book from native ground site and it by Wayne Erbsen from ashville N.C. and it's called ..clawhammer banjo for the complete ignoramus and it's super good and right up my alley for ole timey mountain songs . Highly recomended by me if you don't have a good learn'in book . He also has videos at his native ground site for new learners but book is great . Hope your having fun with this like i am .
