This is fried cornbread "Kentucky" style exactly the way my granny makes it in Kentucky. I remember as a kid we always had cornbread with "dinner" as my family called it. It is the best cornbread you ever did eat...sometimes we would eat it in a bowl crushed up with a little milk.

Ratler - I know you and your folks were raised on this kind of good eats. We always had fresh green beans and red potatoes from the garden, okra, fried yellow squash, dried beans, "roastin ears" peeled sliced red tomatoes and "fried cornbread"!! mm mm mmmmmm!!
