Yes they do and best when on all corners. We don't use them after having moved from CT to NC. If it snows (and it does once in a while, like this week), people mostly wait until it melts before driving much, or they become very familiar with AAA and the names of some bushes & trees they never knew before.
Did you bring the Mustang over from the states? I learned to drive a manual on a 3-speed 1964 Mustang that my dad bought new. He dad put STUDDED snow tires on all wheels. The thing was a tank in snow & ice with those (AWFUL without). I used to drive around in it trying to get stuck; never did.
