This was at the Johnny Keenan Banjo Festival in Ireland, 2004. That was the year Earl played there - one of the very rare occasions Earl had played outside the US. Note the perfect circle Bill drew for his "circle of fifths". The workshop was a tour de force and the whole class was spellbound as bill played a sequence of stunning jazz numbers, pointing to the chord changes with the peghead of is banjo.
