Shawn, what size Blue Chip is that? I've been thinkiing of getting one and that seems to be the size of my current thumb pick.

I think it's a Large, I'm not to sure though. I got it as a gift from another banjo player.

I've been to the Blue Chip site and the pictures of the different picks seem confusing to me. The blades on a large seem shorter than the blade on my Golden Gate. May-be it's just me, I'll keep on doing my homework on this subject. Thanks for the come-back Shawn and have a Merry Christmas. Joe

Yeah, I don't know anything about Golden Gate picks, I've never used them. The bluechip may be and feel a little different when you get it, it did for me coming from National picks, but after using the bluechip for a little while it felt great and sounded great. And you have a Merry Christmas too and a Happy Bew Year!
