It's been almost two years...man, I miss her so much. Was there when she passed even though we were 1200 miles away, I drove straight there from NY, got there in the middle of the night, she died that day, while I held her hand and we were both crying. Ugh. I guess everyone loses their parents at some point.

Sincere condolences Jen. Yes we all lose loved ones along the way. But spirits remain in hearts for ever.

I was with my dad the day before he passed and with my mom when she did . God's saving grace in my life got me through it and He gave me the grace to play sing at both funerals .

I wasn't there when my dad passed. He was in the ER and I got a middle of the night call. That was eight years ago and I still think of him every day. I knew when my Nana went that she was no longer here, didn't cry at all, knew she left this Earth and went to be with my dad.

Thanks. As much as I miss her and my Papa, I'm thankful every day to be fortunate to have known them and to have had them as my parents. She was one of the best to walk the planet. I miss them and think about them all the time. Nana has been gone three years in a few days. I was lucky enough to be there and knew she went to a better place.
