Love the scallops and all your engraving. Do you do the scallop rings? I have a banjo that would look great with scallops. Please advise and thanks.

I've been doing that on my own banjos since the 70's, I always loved that look since seeing it on Mick Maloney's Clifford Essex Paragon tenor banjo.

So GS, can you share any secrets to scallops? Do you do those all by hand/file/drum sander? I think I'd do my armrest to match. Thanks again.

I used to do them with a large file, then free handed them on the end of a belt sander. I've been using a spindle sander for the past ten years or more now.
