Previous owner had, at some point, discovered that re-plating the hools would be expensive, so he just black laquered them. So when replacing the one missing hook, I just stood it up in a clothespin (so than no dripping paint would get onto the threaded portion) and coated it with black nail polish. (Thank you Goth Vampire ex-girlfriend)
