I built this banjo in 1982. The neck and resonator are mahogany with a natural finish and the fingerboard is rosewood. The pot has a First Quality 3-ply rim, a JLS #12 unplated 20-hole tone ring (installed in 2007) and a 2-piece flange. All metal parts except the tone ring are gold-plated. The inlay pattern is my own design and because it resembles snowflakes I named the banjo the "Snowflake Special.".

Great looking banjo, Paul! I really like the inlays... very fresh and original looking, and very tasteful. Good looking all around! regards, Stanger

Very nice Paul. I hope to see it up close at Round Hill some Friday night.
