That is real nice Eddie. I have been in love with wood all my life. My ealry days in school and my work history has always been with wood or the wood industry. I have had my own custom wood working shop and have built many things for many people. The lathe was always one of my favorite machines. You can get very creative with it by gluing up different varieties of wood and then turning them out. IE: wood bowls, cups, vases and etc.

Good luck with your new baby and don't forget to share your creations with your friends right here.

Thanks Donnie Mate, but its a Metal Turning Lathe. It had been used for Wood, they had Stripped all the Tail Stock, and Tool Post off. So thats been my project for the Weekend. It was in a real Mess, Sawdust, and Mystic dont mix to good.

Hey Pete. no nowt as Exciting as Banjo stuff, its just for Work Facing up Rotors for Motors, and making Components. But i cant resist a bit of good old British Workmanship. I use a Chinese Lathe at the Moment and the Bed has started to Flex (rubbish build quality) This little Beut had to be Lifted by Crane into my Workshop, it weighs about 400 Kilos. I dont think She is gonna Flex, or Twist. She is a little Beut. I know nowt about Wood Mate, the best i have done in that Material is my Oak Armrest, and a Teapot Stand at School.
