yet another great banjo tune from ralph stanley. sounds just a little like clinch mtn backstep, but not modal sounding. this has to be one of the happiest banjo tunes ever written.watch out for the one measure of 2/4 time at the end of line four.it leads you into part B of the tune. in the original recording,the fiddle break doesnt use the extra measure. maybe curly ray cline goofed!
