This is a very strange (but cool) looking banjo. What is the scale length? I've never seen a long neck with a resonator before.

28 hook, 11 3/8 inch head and a 32 inch scale. The rim appears to be a dowel stick Vega with a simple brass ring... similar to a Gibson RB 170. It's sound is strong and deep. Rings well all the way up the neck. The decal on the resonator says, "Big John Original #23"
