I always thought that a caboose would make a great cabin in the mountains!

Yeah, my aunt and uncle had an old British railway carriage holiday retreat in a cliff side field on the Isle of White, which is off the coast of England. It was the simplest thing, virtually unconverted, one compartment to sit in, one to sleep in and one to cook in, no running water, so simple. Beautiful.

I sure miss these. The FREDs are a big disappointment...no closure.

Sixteen miles from Arkadelphia
Right near the Texas border
Traffic was stopped at a railway crossing
I took it to the border
I stoked the kettle I put it to the metal
I shook the gravel loose
I missed the train but I was happy with
A glimpse of the caboose.

'Cause I like trains...

This is the first verse of Fred Eaglesmith's song I Like Trains. A good one for you to learn, Fred.

I just realised that FRED (Flashing Rear End Devise) is your first name - and Fred Eaglesmith's.
